- Add gift and Cancel stay visible while you scroll through the gift form. Shared lists place View gift on the left and Claim on the right.

AI assistants understand your Giftafari tools
Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI apps connected to Giftafari now see what each tool does, which fields it takes, and what it returns. Before a sensitive change, such as moving a list to trash, your assistant shows you what will happen in plain words and waits for your yes.
- The API reference at api.giftafari.com/v1/openapi.json now describes every field and response.
- A mistyped id or a field in the wrong format now returns a plain-language error that names the field.
- API requests are now checked against the published reference. A number sent as text, such as a version of "3", is refused with a message naming the field.

Every guide in one place
giftafari.com/docs now lists every guide on one page. Find it from the Docs link in the home page footer.

API base URL is now https://api.giftafari.com/v1
Calls such as GET https://api.giftafari.com/v1/lists now work; before, every /v1 path returned "not found". The old /api/v1 paths are retired, so update saved scripts and reconnect any app or CLI you connected before this change.

Your shared gift home is ready

- Buyer and recipient links show the right view, while claims stay private to the buyer.
- The REST API, CLI, and remote MCP server expose the same versioned operation catalog.
- Account settings now includes notifications, JSON export, ownership transfer, group leave, connection cleanup, and account closure.
